Comedian Jay Mohr, in his split with actress Nikki Cox, asked a Los Angeles family court earlier this month to have professional monitors supervise visits with the actress and their five-year-old son, Meredith Daniel Cox Mohr, citing what he claims are her ongoing mental health and drug issues.
The 46-year-old New Jersey native sa in court docs, according to People: ‘Based upon the the increasing hostility in our home, Nikki’s ongoing refusal to attend her mental health issues … her abuse of drugs, and her failure to respect boundaries, I had no choice but to obtain alternate housing for me and our son.’
Mohr sa he and Cox, 38, had been living under the same roof for three months since his divorce filing in December, but he had to get another place due to a ‘living situation’ that ‘has become extremely confusing and untenable,’ leaving their boy ‘suffering’ as a result.
