The rumors originally started when a photo of his mug shot was posted on social media. The creator himself has spoken of being arrested in his Twitch streams, but maintains he is innocent.

FORT LAUDERDALE – Dennis Duke, the longtime administrator of the Little League district in northern Broward County, has been arrested and charged with possessing child pornography and encouraging sexual activity by a minor, arrest records show.*100003 *

Duke , 63, turned himself in to authorities at the main prison on Sunday after an arrest warrant was issued for him on August 3, court documents show. Duke is free on $20,000 bail.

Details of the allegations against Duke were unavailable late Thursday.

* 100012*Duke, of Fort Lauderdale, declined comment when reached by phone late Thursday. He referred all questions to his attorney Howard L. Greitzer, who could not be reached for comment after the arrest, has served as administrator of the North Broward Little League district since 1990. He has been somewhat involved in youth baseball since 1973.

The North Broward Little League district, also known as District 10, sponsors baseball leagues for 5-18 year olds.

The cities in District 10 include Deerfield Beach, Parkland, Coral Springs, Sunrise and Oakland Park. The district used to include all of Broward County’s little leagues until a southern district was formed in the late 1990s.

“He’s very involved with the little league program and the leagues in the district,” says the assistant of District 10 Administrator Sandy Vaughn who has worked with Duke for about 15 years. “In my heart of hearts, I can’t even begin to believe it. He’s shown exemplary behavior with children since I’ve known him.”

Duke’s achievements include adding more leagues and adding hundreds of new players to his district. In 1989 and 1992, he organized toy drives for children affected by Hurricane Hugo in South Carolina and Hurricane Andrew in South Miami-Dade County.
